Pete Johns (William R. Johns) was born on January 17, 1888 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on August 25, 1915 for the Chicago White Sox. Johns played for the Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Browns over the course of his 2 year career.
