Pete Jaquess

Pete Jaquess (Lindel Glenn Jaquess) was born on December 25, 1940 in Earth, Texas. After going to high school at Roswell (NM), Jaquess attended Eastern New Mexico University. Jaquess made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the Houston Oilers. He played in the AFL for 6 years, playing for the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins and Houston Oilers over the course of his 6 year AFL career.Jaquess also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time.
Most people believe that 1964 was Pete Jaquess's best year, as he picked off 8 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
