Pete Jackson (Harry R. Jackson) was born on August 13, 1904. After going to high school at Central (St. Joseph, MO), Jackson attended the University of Missouri. Jackson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1928 with the Detroit wolverines. He played for the Detroit wolverines for his entire 1 year career.
