Pete Incaviglia (Peter Joseph Incaviglia) was born on April 2, 1964 in Pebble Beach, California. He made his Major League debut on April 8, 1986 for the Texas Rangers. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .250 with 30 home runs and 88 RBI. Incaviglia played for the Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Philadelphia Phillies, Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees over the course of his 12 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Pete Incaviglia's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1986, when he slugged 30 home runs and knocked in 88 runs. However, others believe that it was 1987, when he slugged 27 home runs and knocked in 80 runs. It could be legitimately argued that the Philadelphia Phillies National League Championship year of 1993 was Pete Incaviglia's finest. Pete had a personal best 89 RBIs and .274 batting average in addition to tying for the team lead with 24 homeruns in only 368 at bats.
