Born on December 28, 1887 in Crown Point, Indiana, Pete Henning (Ernest Herman Henning) played for the Kansas City Packers for his entire 2 year career. Henning broke into the bigs on April 17, 1914 with the Kansas City Packers, and put up a 4.83 ERA in 138 innings pitched in 1914, his rookie year.
