Born on October 30, 1857 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Pete Fries (Peter Martin Fries) played for the Columbus Colts and Indianapolis Blues over the course of his 2 year career. Fries broke into the bigs on August 10, 1883 with the Columbus Colts.
