Born on October 1, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, Pete Falcone (Peter Falcone) played for the San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, New York Mets and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 10 year career. Falcone broke into the bigs on April 13, 1975 with the San Francisco Giants, and put up a 4.17 ERA in 190 innings pitched in 1975, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Pete Falcone's best season was 1976, when he posted a 3.23 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 138 batters.
