Born on April 8, 1864 in County Cavan, Ireland, Pete Daniels (Peter J. Daniels) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates and St. Louis Perfectos over the course of his 2 year career. Daniels broke into the bigs on April 19, 1890 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 3.62 ERA in 54.2 innings pitched in 1898, his rookie year.
