Pete Cassidy (Peter Francis Cassidy) was born on April 8, 1873 in Wilmington, Delaware. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1896 for the Louisville Colonels. In 1896, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 0 home runs and 12 RBI. Cassidy played for the Louisville Colonels, Washington Senators and Brooklyn Superbas over the course of his 2 year career.
