Pete Berezney (Peter John Berezney, Jr.) was born on November 14, 1923 in Jersey City, New Jersey. After going to high school at William L. Dickinson (Jersey City, NJ), Berezney attended the University of Notre Dame. Berezney made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Los Angeles Dons. He played for the Baltimore Colts and Los Angeles Dons over the course of his 2 year career.
