Perry Richards (Perry Richards) was born on January 14, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan. After going to high school at St. Rita (Detroit, MI), Richards attended the University of Detroit Mercy. Richards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1957 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Cardinals, Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 4 year NFL career.Richards also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and New York Titans over the course of his 2 year AFL career.

Most people believe that 1961 was Perry Richards's best year.
