Born on October 15, 1876 in Mason, Ohio, Percy Coleman (Pierce D. Coleman) played for the St. Louis Perfectos and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 2 year career. Coleman broke into the bigs on July 2, 1897 with the St. Louis Perfectos, and put up a 8.16 ERA in 57.1 innings pitched in 1897, his rookie year.
