Pepe Frias (Jesus Maria (Andujar) Frias) was born on July 14, 1948 in San Pedro de Macoris, Macoris (Dominican Republic). He made his Major League debut on April 6, 1973 for the Montreal Expos. In 1973, his rookie year, he hit .231 with 0 home runs and 22 RBI. Frias played for the Montreal Expos, Atlanta Braves, Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers over the course of his 9 year career.
