Pennsylvania Pride at the Tour De France

3
Vote

I need to give a shout out to Pennsylvania born Floyd Landis, who took over the lead of the 2006 Tour De France. Landis holds the Yellow Jersey after a tough Stage 11, which saw several difficult mountain climbs.

Landis currently leads Cyril Dessel by eight seconds. The Tour winner will not be fully determined until next week, when the cycling race goes through the mighty Alps. However, with how things are going, it is very likely that the Tour De France winner will once again be from the United States.

Yay PA! (I was born there, but raised in NJ) With Landis in the jersey, now 5 Americans have worn the yellow jersey in the races history.
