Pedro Slips in Bathroom, to Miss Start

9
Vote

Pedro Martinez will miss his scheduled start Monday night for the New York Mets because of a sore hip.

Mets manager Willie Randolph said Martinez slipped in the bathroom and fell on his hip while he was changing his shirt during a series in Florida in May.

“He’s fine. I’m not concerned about it,” Randolph said.

What is the most difficult part to believe: slipping while putting a shirt on in the bathroom, or that it happened in May. I am torn as to which one is less believable.
