Pedro Munoz (Pedro Javier (Gonzalez) Munoz) was born on September 19, 1968 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1990 for the Minnesota Twins. In 1991, his rookie year, he hit .283 with 7 home runs and 26 RBI. Munoz played for the Minnesota Twins and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 7 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Pedro Munoz's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1995, when he slugged 18 home runs, hit for a .301 average and knocked in 58 runs. However, others believe that it was 1992, when he knocked in 71 runs.
