Born on November 15, 1967 in Mao, Valverde (Dominican Republic), Pedro Borbon (Pedro Felix (Marte) Borbon) played for the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays, Houston Astros and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 9 year career. Borbon broke into the bigs on October 2, 1992 with the Atlanta Braves, and put up a 4.09 ERA in 50.2 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Pedro Borbon's best season was 2001, when he posted a 3.71 ERA.
