Pay Your Respects to DNL (Dan Lewis)
Brothers and Sisters of the Benevolent Website Better Known As ArmchairGM,
It is with tremendous regret and sadness, that I must be the bearer of such tragic news.
Our founding father, DNL (in the real world Mr. Dan Lewis) has been stricken with....
a bad cold.
Horrible moments such as these, tend to cause a pause in the bustle of our day to day lives and truly reflect upon what is indeed most important. ESPN would suggest "perspective". However, we are above ESPN and don't believe in trivialized cliches. We live that mundane business up to Chris Berman.
Ponder amongst yourselves in a moment of silence for Dan Lewis. What lights your fire?
Family? Loved ones? The children? Nah......
Bitching about sports!
Feel free to leave a message of prayer or encouragement (for you atheists out there).
Here is my personal tribute to Dan. It is poem. Actually no, it is a cheesy song. And not a very good one. Nor did I even write it. But it was immortalized by the great Will Ferrell in Old School and that should be good enough.
I close my eyes, only for a moment, and the moment's gone
All my dreams, pass before my eyes, a curiosity
Dust in the wind, all they are is dust in the wind
Same old song, just a drop of water in an endless sea
All we do, crumbles to the ground, though we refuse to see
Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind
Don't hang on, nothing lasts forever but the earth and sky
It slips away, all your money won't another minute buy
Dust in the wind, All we are is dust in the wind
Leave DNL a message below! (PS - the hooker/stripper/"nurse" is on her way over to his house. Everybody owes me $10.00)
