Paul Strand (Paul Edward Strand) was born on December 19, 1893 in Carbonado, Washington. He made his Major League debut on May 15, 1913 for the Boston Braves. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .228 with 0 home runs and 13 RBI. Strand played for the Boston Braves and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 4 year career.
