Born on September 24, 1970 in Kelowna, British Columbia (Canada), Paul Spoljaric (Paul Nikola Spoljaric) played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies and Kansas City Royals over the course of his 6 year career. Spoljaric broke into the bigs on April 6, 1994 with the Toronto Blue Jays, and put up a 3.69 ERA in 70.2 innings pitched in 1997, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Paul Spoljaric's best season was 1997, when he posted a 3.69 ERA and struck out 70 batters.
