Paul Sheeks (Paul Preston Sheeks) was born on October 18, 1889 in Grand Rapids, North Dakota. After going to high school at Mitchell (SD), Sheeks attended Dakota Wesleyan University and the University of South Dakota. Sheeks made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Akron Pros. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time. Sheeks also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Akron Pros the entire time.
