Paul Rickards (Paul E. Rickards) was born on June 30, 1926 in Wheeling, West Virginia. After going to high school at Wheeling (WV), Rickards attended the University of Pittsburgh. Rickards made his professional debut in the NFL in 1948 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
