Born on June 25, 1982 in Greenwood, Mississippi, Paul Maholm (Paul Gurner Maholm) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career. Maholm broke into the bigs on August 30, 2005 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 4.76 ERA in 176 innings pitched in 2006, his rookie year.
