Born on August 9, 1941 in Chanute, Kansas, Paul Lindblad (Paul Aaron Lindblad) played for the Kansas City Athletics, Oakland Athletics, Washington Senators, Texas Rangers and New York Yankees over the course of his 14 year career. Lindblad broke into the bigs on September 15, 1965 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 4.17 ERA in 121 innings pitched in 1966, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Paul Lindblad's best season was 1975, when he posted a 2.72 ERA and struck out 58 batters.
