Born on February 2, 1962 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Paul Kilgus (Paul Nelson Kilgus) played for the Texas Rangers, Chicago Cubs, Toronto Blue Jays, Baltimore Orioles and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 6 year career. Kilgus broke into the bigs on June 7, 1987 with the Texas Rangers, and put up a 4.13 ERA in 89.1 innings pitched in 1987, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Paul Kilgus's best season was 1988, when he posted a 4.16 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 88 batters.
