Paul Hogan (Paul Timothy Hogan) was born on September 5, 1898 in Ashtabula, Ohio. After going to high school at Ashtabula (OH), Hogan attended the University of Detroit Mercy, the University of Niagra, the University of Notre Dame and Washington & Jefferson College. Hogan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Akron Pros. He played for the New York Giants, Canton Bulldogs and Akron Pros over the course of his 4 year career.
