Paul Gruber (Paul Blake Gruber) was born on February 24, 1965 in Madison, Wisconsin. After going to high school at Sauk Prairie (Prairie du Sac, WI), Gruber attended the University of Wisconsin. Gruber made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 12 year career.

Most people believe that 1991 was Paul Gruber's best year.
