Paul Crowe (Paul James Crowe) was born on October 23, 1924 in Chino, California. After going to high school at Chino (CA), Crowe attended St. Mary's College of California. Crowe made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played in the AAFC for 2 years, playing for the San Francisco 49ers the entire time. Crowe also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Yanks the entire time.

Most people believe that 1948 was Paul Crowe's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
