Paul Cleary (Paul Hansen Cleary) was born on February 7, 1922 in North Loop, Nebraska. After going to high school at Santa Ana (CA), Cleary attended Santa Ana College and the University of Southern California. Cleary made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the New York Yankees. He played for the Chicago Hornets and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.
