Paul Casanova (Paulino (Ortiz) Casanova) was born on December 21, 1941 in Colon, Cuba. He made his Major League debut on September 18, 1965 for the Washington Senators. In 1966, his rookie year, he hit .254 with 13 home runs and 44 RBI. Casanova played for the Washington Senators and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Paul Casanova's best season was 1967, when he knocked in 53 runs.
