Paul Burris (Paul Robert Burris) was born on July 21, 1923 in Hickory, North Carolina. He made his Major League debut on October 2, 1948 for the Boston Braves. In 1952, his rookie year, he hit .220 with 2 home runs and 21 RBI. Burris played for the Boston Braves and Milwaukee Braves over the course of his 4 year career.
