Paul Blessing (Paul Theodore Blessing) was born on January 16, 1919 in Tilden, Nebraska. After going to high school at Ord (NE), Blessing attended the University of Nebraska-Kearney. Blessing made his professional debut in the NFL in 1944 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
