Patriots Could Learn Something About Class

The Jets fans and the New York media have been outspoken about how the Patriots are a team is classless. The thought was that those people were crying sour grapes.
When a class act like Ladanian Tomlinson goes out and rips the Patriots after the game on Sunday afternoon, this is something that can not be ignored. Tomlinson has been saying what other people have felt about the Patriots. The Patriots have rubbed many people the wrong way with the way they conduct their business since winning championships.
It starts with Robert Kraft, who owns the New England Patriots. This guy just conducts himself like a jerk. He likes to brag a lot via the talking. The way he treated Bill Parcells was a joke when Parcells was their head coach. He had no use for him. All Parcells did was win and field a great year yet Kraft wanted a general manager in Rosey Grier, who did nothing for that team. Kraft never seemed to appreciate him. He always would criticize him in the papers which is why Parcells got fed up and left. Kraft does not seem popular with his fellow owners. He seems to want to keep all the revenue sharing to himself rather than share the wealth to small-market owners. He is not shy to announce his team’s accomplishments.
Another reason to hate the Patriots is Tom Brady. No question Brady is the best quarterback in football right and when all is said and done, Brady is probably going to be the best quarterback that football fans ever watched. With that said, Brady is a smug little punk who could use some humility. Brady comes off as a guy who thinks he is better than ours just by the way he talks. There were two incidents with Brady to suggest that he is full of himself. First one began with him ripping Chargers head coach Marty Schottenheimer. He accused Schottenheimer of saying that his team is not that good when in reality, Schottenheimer praised the Patriots for finding a way to get it done without their key players. He mentioned how hard it was so for Brady to go act like a child was uncalled for. Also, he whined about his team getting lack of respect. What is he talking about? ESPN and the national media has been raving about the Patriots in January for the last few years. This act sure seems like him being a diva, which he is.
The Patriots are a dirty team. They always find a way to injure other players and they always like to chop block the other players when they defend. It is amazing how they clutch and grab and just get away from it. Better yet, how is it they get so many calls by the refs. It is amazing and it showed again in the divisonal playoff game against the Chargers.
The guy behind this is their head coach, Bill Belichick. Belichick is the best coach in football and probably the best ever in the sport. Parcells should thank Belichick for helping him win two Super Bowl rings thanks to Belichick's work on defense. Belichick is a whiz when it comes to defense. Sadly, Belichick is a lowlife.
The Patriots head coach has zero social skills. His behavior towards his protege, Eric Mangini was embarassing. He has been bitter towards Mangini because his former defensive coordinator took the Jets head coaching job even though he was told that he was better off not taking it. He pulled an ingenious stunt by hugging Mangini after he was done attacking a cameraman in a playoff game. It was a good bet that he would not have done that so had the Jets won that game and he knows it.
He also has ability to tick people off whether it's running up the score or using Vinny Testaverde to go throw the ball when the game is over. He ran up the score on the Vikings this year on Monday Night Football because he did not like how Brad Childress mocked him for the injured list. Childress added many, many names to the list to fool Belichick. How about using Vinny to run up the score on the Titans in the final game of the season or against the Jets in the preseason? How about whining about the grass at his stadium? This is the same idiot who once yelled at a Steelers trainer for having the gall to check on his player.
This latest incident with the Patriots is an example of what they are about. Apparently, Karl Hobbs was mouthing off at Tomlinson when Tomlinson congraulated him. The NFL's 2006 MVP clearly took offense to it as he started screaming at several Patriots players. There is no need to be sore winners after a great game and a great win. As LT said, act like you have been there before.
There is really nothing to like about them. They are boring to watch. Patriots fans are smug and arrogant which is typical of a Boston fanbase. They make Cowboys fans from the past look intelligent in comparasion.
If there is God, here's hoping good overcome evil on Sunday at the RCA Dome. Peyton and Tony Dungy are good people that are more deserving of a championship than Belichick and Brady.
