Non-scholarship player who transferred from Solano Junior College after a very successful career at De La Salle High School, one of the premier prep football programs in the country (the same school as former Hurricanes star D.J. Williams)...Two-year starter at Solano J.C., where he had career totals of 204 tackles, 13 sacks, three interceptions, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries...Two-time All-Conference and the team's defensive MVP...Academic All-American at De La Salle, playing tight end, offensive tackle and defensive end...As a senior in 2004, tallied 76 tackles and 14 sacks...His junior team won the state and USA Today national championships, going 14-0 and extending the school's national record to 151 consecutive victories...Lettered once in basketball.
