Pat Toomay (Patrick Jay Toomay) was born on May 17, 1945 in Pomona, California. After going to high school at Thomas Edison (Alexandria, VA), Toomay attended Vanderbilt Universtiy. Toomay made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Pat Toomay's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
