Pat Lahey (Thomas Patrick Lahey) was born on October 21, 1919 in Dunbridge, Ohio. After going to high school at Bowling Green (OH), Lahey attended John Carroll University. Lahey made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the Chicago Rockets. He played for the Chicago Rockets for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1946 was Pat Lahey's best year.
