Pat Hughes (William Patrick Hughes) was born on June 2, 1947 in Everett, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Everett (MA), Hughes attended Boston University. Hughes made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New York Giants. He played for the New York Giants and New Orleans Saints over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was Pat Hughes's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
