Pat Howell (Pat Gerard Howell) was born on March 12, 1957 in Fresno, California. After going to high school at Fresno (CA), Howell attended the University of Southern California. Howell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Atlanta Falcons. He played for the Atlanta Falcons and Houston Oilers over the course of his 7 year career.
