Pat Herron (James Patrick Herron) was born on August 12, 1894 in New Kenington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Monessen (PA), Herron attended the University of Pittsburgh. Herron made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Cleveland Tigers. He played for the Cleveland Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
