Pat Gavin (Patrick Marvin Gavin) was born on June 22, 1895 in Amenia, New York. After going to high school at Tonawanda (NY), Gavin attended none. Gavin made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo All-Americans and Rock Island Independents over the course of his 2 year APFA career.Gavin also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Rock Island Independents, Hammond Pros and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
