Pat Coffee (James Lilburn Coffee) was born on August 3, 1915 in Deann, Arkansas. After going to high school at Minden (LA), Coffee attended Louisiana State University. Coffee made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1937 was Pat Coffee's best year.
