Pak Vs Eng Day 3

Sorry guys, I have been moving into my new house, hence havent been blogging or watching the match since yesterday. But I can picture it by looking at the scoreboard. I am overjoyed to see tons by AN Cook, PD Collingwood and IR Bell. That shows the bench strength for England in the batting department. It will be tough to replace anyone when A Flintoff gets back, and eventually when M Vaughan returns. Pakistan has always enjoyed a solid middle order and fighting tail. Its the opening conundrum that we cant find an answer to. Although, S Butt is very promising prospect for Pakistan in that top order. He is less fluent and glamorous in his shots, but does stick around for a while as compared to flamboyant swash-buckling I Farhat who still does not have any inning of any significance to show. M Yousuf and I Haq rose to the occassion, as expected. I think the time is ripe to bury the ghosts of the past. This Pakistani outfit has been nothing but inspired fighting unit under the captaincy of I Haq sine the start of 2005. There is still time left in the game to force a result. Pakistan will be hoping to get atleast 428. If England will be trying to get Pakistan out by the 1st session, and step up the scoring rate. Hopefully I will be able to watch the match tomorrow. Till then, enjoy!

It's a flat track. England made 528, and Pakistan closed on Day 3 for 409/7. With Shahid Afridi at the wicket, we need to get either him or Mohammed Yousuf (currently 189 not out) out, and England have a chance of pushing on for a win. I think England have a slight advantage, but the match can go eiter way.
