Packers get poked by them 'Boys

This post is also viewable at my site theroguehour Did not play nearly physical enough with these fucks. (R)Homo was consistently able to just drop back and go thru his full progression of receivers. Does KGB really make that much of a difference?! Well shit I guess he's worth the money a lot of Packer fans are bitchin' about that he makes. I guess Charles Woodson makes that much of a difference too. Al Harris had a most unusual poor performance. Usually he is a gamer when the stakes is high . . .but not this time. I think maybe he got caught up in trying to help out the rest of the young secondary. The obviously botched call at the beginning of the game when he out wrestled T.O. for a pass and the referees claimed forward progress was stopped had to fuck him up for a minute.

Another observation: is Jerry Jones the most powerful man in the NFL or what? I think Roger Goodell answers to him behind closed doors. I mean he comes out to the sideline and all of the sudden the refs are doing things like blatantly mis-spotting the ball by a full yard or more on important downs and calling phantom pass interference penalties after "consulting" for a couple of minutes after the play is over.

What hurts me most is the thought that if it was a conspiracy, how could the league choose Dallas over the Packers? We are the flagship team of this league, the only publicly owned franchise in professional sports. We have America's Sweetheart, Brett Favre (Romo quickly closing the gap). We have the most NFL championships in history. If you want to tip the field do it for us! Fuck that larger market shit.

But on the alright side we are still 10-2, and who knows Dallas could still lose 2 more games this season and the Pack run the table the rest of the way.

I don't understand the point trying to made here.

You are accusing the NFL of bias towards Dallas? Uh, okay. But then you seem upset that if the NFL was involved in a massive conspiracy to favor certain teams over others, than Green Bay should receive the benefit of cheating.

Show some class. You lost the game, stop crying and man up. How about the call that negated a sack by Ellis that would have ended a drive. By the way, why are there even editors on this site if offensive profanity laced crap like this is gonna be published. Terrible job all around. Oh yeah, one other thing: HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYSSSSS!!!!!

I forgot about that one. I also just remembered when Demarcus Ware got a great jump on a third down, Favre threw for an incomplete pass, and Ware got whistled for an offsides. It was a horrible call that kept the drive going and resulted in a field goal.

WRONG. Why do people keep saying that? The fact that he was turned around is irrelevant when he's making that much contact with his hands! Do y'all really think that once the defender turns around, anything is fair game?

No- Aswaff- that call was wrong- feet got caught up in each other- it was clean- call was bullshit- didn't have anything to do with him turning around are even the small contact before it- nothing broke his stride- feet got caught up accidently and they threw the flag- bad call- should have (but can't be) reviewed- lead to touchdown- Dallas wins-

Do you really have that hard a time giving Dallas credit for the win? It wasn't handed to them by any stretch of the imagination. They played a great game.

I'm actually a Bears fan (eventhough I joke on another site about being a new cheesehead). I'm not a Green Bay fan, I'm not a Dallas fan. Both teams played great. If we should be talking about anything it should be about Rodgers. But that call was a bad call and it did wonders for Dallas. Like I said TO is a douchebag but so far he's behaved so I give him credit for that. Dallas and NE will be the superbowl this year.

That's been just as shocking to people down here. Almost everyone I talked to was pissed when the Cowboys signed him, including myself. They thought it was a very dumb and dangerous move. He has been a very pleasant surprise. Sadly, when I say that about TO, I still always find myself following it with, "so far."

It kinda amuses me when I watch reports about the Cowboys and hear phrases like "keeping T.O. happy". Sounds like appeasing a 3 year old with a cereal box prize or something.

TO is behaving because he is the biggest star on the team. NO ONE is over shadowing him and that's what he wants. Romo and Phillips are not as famous as he is so he is happy. the Reid/McNabb and Mariucci/Garcia pairs were both out-shining him. He couldn't deal with that. Once this season is over, you'll see Romo get bigger than TO and you'll see TO turn on him. His ego is too gigantic and too fragile for him to be bale to handle Romo's fame past this season.

I'd be shocked if the Cowboys lost two of their final four games. Granted, three of the four are on the road, but they're against the Lions (6-5), Eagles (5-6), Panthers (4-7) and Redskins (5-6). And thee of those teams are in free-fall right now. The Lions have lost three straight (including two at home); the Panthers have lost five straight (three of which were at home, two of which were to the struggling Falcons and Titans, and the losses came by an average margin of 16.6); and Redskins have lost three straight, one of which was to the Cowboys. Given that group, I have an incredibly hard time seeing them losing two more.

By the way all there was no real point to this post. I was just seriously pissed off that the Packers lost and wrote the post to blow off steam. So I wasn't seriously suggesting that the result of the game was predetermined by some high level conspiracy. Good game 'Boys. See you in January.
