Yes, it is true. Lions fans and Lions players are running out of excuses for the countless losing seasons.
Each year a Lions fan says, "Thats enough, I can't endure this anymore." But with each coming of the new season, Lions fan comes back again with hopes and promises from management and players that this year will be different. But, as usual its the same old shit.
Maybe it is management or maybe its the player. It surely isn't the fan, because we are always the twelfth man supporting the dismal lack luster repetitive crap that we see year in and year out.
Maybe if Lion's fans decided all-as-one not to take it anymore, don't come back, don't buy the tickets or fill the stands. Maybe the Fords would put a better product on the field for the Lions fan to take pride in. Sure this is only one fan's opinion. I'm sure there are countless others out there that feel the same. But because of the fact they enjoy the game so much, they come back every year for the same disappointment.
May the Fords should take a lesson from The Detroit Tigers' owners and spend more money on the team and then maybe we could have a winning football team. Like the Detroit Tigers' owners did and we all know the results. I guess with the close of the football season and with the same result as last year and the year before etc....etc.... thats what this fan will look forward to: the opening of the Baseball Season and the Detroit Tigers advancing and winning the 2008 Fall Classic...
