Ozzie Guillen - Be careful of the company you keep

The Ozzie Guillen saga did not end today as a former major leaguer came to Ozzie's defense today. This former star pitcher said both that sensitivity training was a joke, and "This is a free country. If he wants to use a lewd term, he should be able to use a lewd term. Can't you use a lewd term in America if you want?"
Guillen, a former teammate of this former major leaguer, might want to think twice before embracing this unsolicited support. John Rocker is not exactly the most popular guy around these days.
John Rocker's support for Guillen's bigoted statements is kinda like Sadam Hussein getting supprt for his foreign policy from Kim Jung Il. After all, between Rocker and Guillen they have slandered gays, people with AIDS, immigrants, Asians, and African-Americans. Guillen took another page out of the Rocker playbook by saying he would not attend the sensitivity training ordered by Bud Selig. Rocker, said of the training he was ordered to attend "It was a farce, a way for the scared little man, Bud Selig, to get people off his ass."
John Rocker was last seen getting booed and hammered as a pitcher for the Long Island Ducks in the independent league. A fate that might await Guillen unless he stops reading from John Rocker's version of "How to Make Friends, Influence People, Alienate fans, and Piss Off Bud Selig."
