Ossie Bluege (Oswald Louis Bluege) was born on October 24, 1900 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 24, 1922 for the Washington Senators. In 1923, his rookie year, he hit .245 with 2 home runs and 42 RBI. Bluege played for the Washington Senators for his entire 18 year career.

Most people believe that Ossie Bluege's best season was 1931, when he knocked in 98 runs.
