Born on November 22, 1981 in San Nicolas de los Garza, Nuevo Leon (Mexico), Oscar Villarreal (Oscar Eduardo Villarreal) played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 4 year career. Villarreal broke into the bigs on March 31, 2003 with the Arizona Diamondbacks, and put up a 2.57 ERA in 98 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Oscar Villarreal's best season was 2003, when he posted a 2.57 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 80 batters.
