Oscar Roettger (Oscar Frederick Louis Roettger) was born on February 19, 1900 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on July 7, 1923 for the New York Yankees. Roettger played for the New York Yankees, Brooklyn Robins and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 4 year career.
