Oscar Reed

Oscar Reed (Oscar Lee Reed) was born on March 24, 1944 in Jonestown, Mississippi. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Memphis, TN), Reed attended Colorado State University. Reed made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Oscar Reed's best year, as he ran for 639 yards.
