Oscar Lofton (Oscar W. Lofton) was born on April 2, 1938 in McCall Creek, Mississippi. After going to high school at Istrouma (Baton Rouge, LA), Lofton attended Southeastern Louisiana University. Lofton made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 1 year career.
